The Whiskey Kitchen in Raleigh, NC, features a variety of over 400 Whiskeys, with an abundant selection of wines and beer. Owner, Michael Thor, prides himself, & his keen staff to put together incredible meals with the selections provided. The wait staff are seasoned veterans on pairings of whiskey & fine food instrumented by executive chef, Clayton Anderson.
Chef Clayton has assembled a menu ranging from
locally grown chicked breast (pan seared) to smoked NC pork chops.
Fine herbs, & wood smoking are a few of the culinary tricks up the chefs sleeve.
The Frylow is utilized in the Whiskey Kitchen's deep-fryers. Fried items including steak frites & fried fish
contain significantly less oil, making fried foods tastier, crispy & golden brown. "The science behind Frylow
is magical. It works extremely well." quotes Chef Clayton.
Chef Clayton oversees and mentors 28 culinary interns in his kitchen brigade.
The culinary interns are made-up of mostly local high school students.
Chef Clayton has assembled a culinary team that will compete in the National ProStart competitions in 2019.
The complete Whiskey Kitchen location employs just over 80 employees including bartenders, servers and support staff.
The Whiskey Kitchen features a landscaped patio that seats over 120 customers.
The interior design is extremely cool with a wild mosaic wall and uniquely structured skylight.
